The full text service of the Leibniz Library Network for Research Information – Goportis – provides fast and simple access to digital and print full texts, articles, books, conference reports, dissertations and research reports either as copies (articles) or on loan (books). The service is offered worldwide.
The available integrated search and order systems include the subject-specific portals for medicine (Medpilot), nutritional sciences (Greenpilot), science and technology (GetInfo) and economic sciences (EconBiz). Regardless of which portal is used, the following services will be provided in the future:
The full text service is the core business and competence of the Leibniz Library Network for Research Information. Full text service covers both delivery of print texts (“classic document delivery”) as well as immediate availability of digital publications. The term full text service for textual documents is to be expanded to include digital objects such as primary research data, AV media, 3D models, etc.
The full text service is provided worldwide to academic and commercial customers as well as private persons. Limitations of service to all customer groups in all countries result from copyright restrictions, import prohibitions and licensing contracts. For complete information go to Document Delivery Service.
The spectrum of disciplines covered includes engineering and natural sciences, medicine, nutritional sciences, agriculture and the environment as well as economic sciences and business practice.
Each of the discipline-specific portals, primarily geared to the requirements of its own scientific community, offers search in the catalogues of all three German National Libraries. This means that the TIB catalogue, the ZB MED catalogue and the ZBW catalogue are integrated in all four portals for search and subsequent document ordering.
More than one million articles are immediately accessible in electronic form. These are mostly articles from the STM subject areas published since 1993, including the resources of Springer, Thieme, Karger, and IOP etc. The articles can be searched in the discipline-specific portal and are available for immediate download. The advantages include
